Why hello there! The weather in beautiful Atlanta, Ga is finally starting to warm up a bit and I cannot wait to pack away the sweaters and whip out the Blazers and ballet flats! Spring not only gets me excited for lighter clothes and all the fun outdoor activities that come along with it, but really gets me motivated to complete my decorating projects! Anyhoo, I have some last minute guests coming in town in a few weeks and had to scramble to get my junk craft room looking like a bedroom and not a catch all for my decorating stuff! With limited time and funds, I had to shop my home to pull together a last minute spring like guest room.

Hello family and friends! As I mentioned in my previous post, I’ve been steadily working on creating an Art gallery wall for my staircase and so far, I think I’ve gotten to a pretty good point with it! To keep the cost down, I mixed pieces I made with store bought pieces. The first piece I made for my collection was the floating feather art which was pretty simple to make and only cost about $20 total. Here’s some close ups of the other pieces I’ve made so far and the breakdown:

This floating feather art was the first project I did for my collection and it was low cost (surprise surprise!), quick and really easy to make. Here’s the breakdown:
